Ways To Use CBD

There are many ways to consume cannabidiol, or CBD, which is a well-known compound in cannabis. CBD oil can be administered sublingually, eaten, drank,  inhaled or applied topically to the skin.

Sublingual use requires placing the CBD oil under your tongue for 30-60 seconds to allow the CBD to enter your bloodstream directly through absorption of the mucus membranes. When you swallow CBD, it will have to go through your digestive system and liver before it enters your bloodstream. Topical CBD typically does not reach your bloodstream and instead, it directly reacts with the cannabinoid receptors on the skin in the area where it is applied.
